Wassail Day is Sea Cliff’s festive winter celebration, where local businesses open their doors and offer their own versions of warm, spiced holiday cider. Dress in your favorite holiday gear, stroll through the business district, sing a few songs, and enjoy a day of simple seasonal fun.
What is Wassail?
Wassail is a hot, spiced cider traditionally shared among friends and neighbors during the holidays. Every recipe is a little different—and that’s part of the fun!
How Wassail Day Works
- Start at the Sea Cliff Arts Council, 86 Roslyn Ave.
- Tasting passes: $10, or $20 with a commemorative mug.
- Follow the map to participating businesses and sample each unique wassail.
- Get your “Sips of Sea Cliff” card punched at every stop.
- After completing your card, vote for your favorite and return your ballot to the Arts Council.
While supplies last, you’ll receive this year’s 4th Annual Sea Cliff Wassail Day mug.
