Autumn is a spectacular season to visit Glen Cove and Sea Cliff, two historic communities along Long Island’s North Shore. As the air turns crisp and the trees burst into shades of gold, orange, and red, the entire area transforms into a postcard-perfect destination. Whether you’re walking the scenic waterfront, exploring historic landmarks, or simply enjoying a cozy meal in town, fall is one of the best times to experience the charm of our region.

Our calendar is packed with exciting happenings that bring our waterfront villages to life! Join us for seasonal favorites, artisan markets, concerts, regatta’s and more—where friendly faces and stunning views are always part of the experience.

Drop off your old live Christmas tree to be made into wood chips for use around our parks and plantings around the City of Glen Cove! Come join us for this fun event!
Chipping trees for recycling provides benefits like creating mulch to retain soil moisture, suppress weeds, and improve soil health; producing biomass for renewable energy; and stabilizing coastlines. It also diverts waste from landfills, provides habitats for wildlife, and supports the circular economy by reusing valuable organic materials.

All are welcome to join the Sea Cliff Poets monthly meetings to read and hear poetry. Bring a poem you wrote, or one you admire. Beginner or experienced or wannabe, this is about enjoying poetry within a relaxed and convivial group.
A prompt is emailed each month to use if you would like. We sit in a circle and read our poems to each other without judgment, for the enjoyment of language and what it can convey. If you would like to join the mailing list, please email Victoria@vbbllc.com.
Please bring 10 copies of a poem to share.
Everyone’s voice is different and unique, and we’d love to hear yours.
No charge to be part, we just ask that you support the Sea Cliff Arts Council by becoming a member at any level that suits you.
