Continuing our Understanding Italian Wine Series, we move on to Abruzzo! 

Abruzzo is often overlooked, partly due to the mass production of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, where quality often suffers. But a bit of navigating through the large quantity of Montepulciano, one can find some remarkable and collectible wines, and at the same time there are plenty of values! We’ll taste several Montepulciano d’Abruzzo along with some some whites fantastic white wines, and an incredibly potent Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo.

The class includes light appetizers.
