Downtown Sounds 2026 — Glen Cove
Held every Friday in July and August at 7:30 PM, this popular Glen Cove tradition brings residents and visitors together in the heart of downtown for free live performances. It is a great way to enjoy local restaurants, shop downtown, meet friends, and experience Glen Cove’s summer nightlife.

Downtown Sounds Off The Square
Held every Friday in July at 7:00 PM, this popular Glen Cove new tradition of a second stage on Highland and School St with outdoor dining, vendors, games, and more! Enjoy free live performances. It is a great way to enjoy local restaurants, shop downtown, meet friends, and experience Glen Cove’s summer nightlife.

Morgan Park Summer Music Festival
The Morgan Park Summer Music Festival is another beloved Glen Cove tradition, offering free Sunday evening concerts in one of the City’s most beautiful waterfront parks.
Bring a blanket or chair, enjoy the view, and settle in for a summer night of music in Morgan Park. The 2026 schedule includes tribute shows, Broadway favorites, country, rock, big band, orchestral music, and more.

Sea Cliff Beach Friday Night Summer Music Series
Sea Cliff Beach offers one of the most scenic concert settings on the North Shore. The Friday Night Summer Music Series brings live music to the beach with beautiful sunset views over Hempstead Harbor.
These concerts are a wonderful way to start the weekend. Pack a beach chair, enjoy the harbor breeze, and take in live music by the water.

Sunset Serenade
The Sunset Serenade is a beloved summer concert series that is hosted by the Sea Cliff Civic Association. Featuring free, family-friendly performances by local bands, these outdoor community gatherings run weekly through August.

Gold Coast Dance Festival
In addition to live music, Glen Cove will also host a special outdoor performing arts event this summer.
New York Dance Theatre presents the 6th Annual Gold Coast Dance Festival at Morgan Memorial Park. This free event features dancers from an impressive lineup of companies and performance backgrounds, including Pilobolus, Broadway, Mor Dance, Parsons Dance, Ballet Nepantla, New York City Ballet, John Lehrer Dance, New York Dance Theatre, and more.
